Hints to Learning and Playing New Songs: How to Get Beyond Songbooks. Join Neil Harrell as he takes you through the steps and the thought processes he uses when learning a new song. He’ll address things like: Figuring out a song from CD’s; Understanding chord progressions; Finding the key for your voice; and more!

Neil Harrell: Neil Harrell, who most weekends can be found helping run the stage and sound at Leo, will take the stage to play a handful of favorite songs, some of which you’ve heard before and some perhaps not.
|7:30 PM (2nd Set)||
The Corncobs: Jeff Custis, Jeff Gushin, Larry Lankford and Rich Overturf play old-time music that is strongly influenced by the ”Golden” string band era of the ‘20’s and 30’s. Their music includes ballads, blues, hoedowns, breakdowns, rags, jug band, wobbles, stomps and struts. “We may be rough but we get it right!”

John Kogge & Laurie Traveline: Long-time musical partners on the Oxford, OH scene. They perform a mix of classics and covers.
