The Leo Coffeehouse is taking a break for the holiday on December 25, 2016 and January 1, 2017.  

Here’s what’s on the schedule for the Leo Coffeehouse on Sunday January 8, 2017:

Open Jam: Founders Hall, all welcome

Songwriters’ Collaborative: Anyone interested in songwriting welcome.

7:00 PM (1st Set)

Family & Friends: Family and Friends is from Hillsboro, OH.  The group evolved several families enjoyed singing and playing together on the porch, hence the name. Their music is all acoustic and mixes contemporary and traditional folk, bluegrass, and anything else that fits. Everyone sings backed by acoustic guitar, mandolin, and upright bass.

7:30 PM  (2nd Set)

Caleb Hawkins: Caleb is a young folk musician with an old soul, channeling a classic traditional folk sound through his soulful songwriting and multi-instrumental talents.

His latest EP “Destination” features a mix of original instrumentals and songs full of thoughtful lyrics and tender messages sung with his haunting baritone voice.

Ellie FabeEllie Fabe is a QCB regular who has been described as “a mind-blowing lyricist.” A song from her first album, Be A Girl Again, was featured in the soundtrack of NightSong from Mirepoix Pictures. This is alternative folk—expressive, authentic.  Gather round. Get to know her. You’ll be glad you did.
