Here’s what’s on the schedule for the Leo Coffeehouse this Sunday:

Open Jam: Founder’s Hall. All welcome.
Workshop: Clawhammer banjo with Russ Childers. Upstairs room TBD.

7:00 PM (1st set):  Open Mic
3 10-minute sets

7:30 PM (2nd set): The Corncobs

The Corncobs, Jeff Custis, Jeff Gushin, Rich Overturf will play old-time music that is strongly influenced by the ”Golden” string band era of the ‘20’s and 30’s. Their music includes ballads, blues, hoedowns, breakdowns, rags, jug band, wobbles, stomps and struts. “We may be rough but we get it right! Special guest – Ma Crow!

8:00 PM: Coffee break

8:15 PM (3rd set):  Russell Up Some Grub String Band

Russell Up Some Grub String Band serves up hot old-time mountain tunes cooked with a fiddle (Russ Childers), stirred with a banjo (Mark Alexander), seasoned with a doghouse bass (Rob Kranz), and spiced with a dash of ukejo (Barb Childers).
