Although the pandemic has forced us to close our normal live version of Leo Coffeehouse, we are using the technology available to us to remotely continue many of our regular programs using the meeting program Zoom.

Notices for these programs are shared via FolkNotes, Facebook, Meetup, and here on the QCB website, where we have added a new “Calendar of Events.”  On a computer just click on “Calendar of Events” next to “Home.”  On a smart phone, click on “Menu” and then “Calendar of Events.”

Our current lineup of QCB Zoom programs are as follows:

1st Sunday, Ukulele Jam 5:30 PM, Leader: John Mann
2nd Sunday, Songwriters Collaborative 5:30 PM, Leader: John Fonner
3rd Sunday, “Zing” Along 2:00 PM, Leader: Janice Alvarado
3rd Sunday, Guitar Roundtable 5:30 PM, Leader: Mike Helm
4th Sunday, Old Time Jam 5:30 PM, Leader: Chuck Black

2nd Friday and 4th Saturday Song Circles 7:30 PM, Leader: To Be Named.

Zoom is a simple program to use and is free to download.  You can download it at zoom.us.

To join a meeting, email the host the week before it is being held.  The host will then email you a link to the meeting along with a meeting ID and password.  Eventually, hosts will create email lists to send this information to people who have attended past meetings.

We hope members, as well as non-members, will join us on Zoom.  It’s not the same, but it is fun getting to see everyone and hear their voices.
